On Saturday at Andheri Police station an FIR was filed against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, for allegedly using the term "bhangi" on an open public platform that harm the sentiments of the Scheduled Caste community.
Confirming the news headlines, Vice President of Rojgar Aghari Republican Party of India, Kishore Masoom, told IANS on telephone, "We extremely condemn Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty intended for using such terms that show all of us in bad light. We've filed a complaint and can hold a protest before Galaxy Apartment, Salman's home today. According to legislation, he must serve an imprisonment of five years. "
Asked if he believed Salman Khan who includes a large fan following would obtain bail easily, Masoom stated, " Nobody is above regulations. "Actor Shilpa Shetty mentioned within an interview 'I appear to be a bhangi' - it seems from her declaration that she actually is encouraging and spreading ill-feeling among the whole society. He also intentionally insulted users of the Planned Caste. Mr Lade added, " We felt insulted and humiliated. Being truly a known person in the Scheduled Caste, I feel extremely pained and hurt because of an insulting statement created by Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty. "
The FIR comes a day time after users of the Valmiki community in Rajasthan filed a complaint against the star in Jaipur for using the pejorative word.
Massive protests were kept against Salman Khan starrer "Tiger Zinda Hai" about Fri, with Valmiki community members disrupting the film's screening in cinema halls over the state on Fri in protest against the alleged utilization of a pejorative word by Salman.
Users of the Valmiki Yuva Sangathan lodged a complaint in the Nahargarh law enforcement station against Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty for the usage of word 'Bhangi'.
