On Saturday at Andheri Police station an FIR was filed against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, for allegedly using the term "bhangi" on an open public platform that harm the sentiments of the Scheduled Caste community.
Confirming the news headlines, Vice President of Rojgar Aghari Republican Party of India, Kishore Masoom, told IANS on telephone, "We extremely condemn Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty intended for using such terms that show all of us in bad light. We've filed a complaint and can hold a protest before Galaxy Apartment, Salman's home today. According to legislation, he must serve an imprisonment of five years. "
Asked if he believed Salman Khan who includes a large fan following would obtain bail easily, Masoom stated, " Nobody is above regulations. Mr Lade added, " We felt insulted and humiliated. Being truly a known person in the Scheduled Caste, I feel extremely pained and hurt because of an insulting statement created by Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty. "
The FIR comes a day time after users of the Valmiki community in Rajasthan filed a complaint against the star in Jaipur for using the pejorative word.
